About Me
Starting therapy can feel daunting and overwhelming for many individuals. It takes enormous courage to share your vulnerability with a therapist.
One of the fundamental pillars of better mental health is feeling connected and supported during difficult moments. My priority is to make therapy a safe and containing place for my clients, where they can freely discuss and explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences.
I am a clinical Mental Health Social Worker and Psychotherapist, based on the Mornington Peninsula. I provide evidence based, trauma informed psychotherapy to adolescents and adults seeking support with mental health difficulties. I apply a non-diagnostic approach to therapy, focusing instead on the ways in which you have been coping and living, what matters to you, and how you wish to be, going further.
I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced psychological distress and trauma, and recognise the profound impact this has on the mind and body. Although trauma recovery is complex and often challenging, with commitment, the right kind of support, and an accurate assessment of your particular needs, meaningful and lasting change is possible.
Supporting a healthy connection and alliance between the mind and body is an integral part of how I work therapeutically. This is achieved with specialist psychological therapies, and somatic (body-based) approaches.

Professional History
Prior to establishing my private practice, I worked in Public Health, specialising in women’s mental health at The Royal Women’s Hospital, and complex trauma at Monash Health. I also worked in various non-for-profit organisations and consultancy services, providing trauma informed therapy to vulnerable infants, children and adults. This extensive experience has provided me with a deep understanding of service systems, and the importance of an integrative, person-centred, and collaborative approach.
